One of the reasons why TeenIdol is so popular and successful is that it encourages and stimulates the local infrastructure rather than seeking to replace it. We spend a lot of time meeting local organisations in order that we may work with them and help to create more links between community resources and businesses. The young people we train and provide experience for are then returned to the schools and community groups to help those around them benefit from their new found skills and, we hope, inspire others to seek to develop and enjoy their own talents. In this way, local organisers are far more likely to run other additional events when the TeenIdol shows have finished. This also helps businesses stay in tune with what is happening in their own community and boosts confidence when they see that their support is directly helping local people and creating a positive image amongst potential customers. Rather than asking businesses for financial support, TeenIdol tends to focus on those businesses that can offer goods or services that are directly relevant to the running of the auditions, rehearsals, training, and public performances. We then get support exactly where we need it, and businesses are recognised for what they do best. This creates greater cross-marketing potential and improves on the quality of the traditional relationship between provider and sponsor. So what are we looking for? We are currently looking for local businesses who are interested in helping us with the following support opportunities: This tells the world about us The energy that keeps our performers going This keeps us looking great This gets us to the shows We are always looking for new people to join our creative team: The above is not an exhaustive list.
